Snickerdoodles

1 1/2 cups Sugar
1/2 cup Butter, softened
1 teaspoon Vanilla
2 eggs
2 3/4 cups Flour
1 teaspoon Cream of Tartar
1/2 teaspoon Baking Soda
1/4 teaspoon Salt
2 Tablespoons Sugar
2 teaspoons Cinnamon

In a large mixing bowl, beat sugar and butter until light and fluffy.

Add vanilla and eggs, blend well.

Add flour, cream of tartar, baking soda and salt; mix well.

In a small bowl combine sugar and cinnamon.

Shape dough into 1 inch balls (I just use a medium ice cream scooper) then roll in cinnamon sugar mixture. (makes about 37 cookies)

Place on ungreased cookie sheet and bake at 400 for 8-10 minutes.
